UK KNN Gradings 2008

Our first home bred foal from 2006, Heimdal, is successfully presented for his first stallion licensing.

One of this year's fillies, Valentina, takes Best Filly Foal and gets the comments of "best moving foal of the day".

Foals 2008

Last foal of the season arrives on the 10th July - this time it's a big chestnut colt.

A third filly foal arrived on the 27th May. A big near leopard, leggy filly and very much a mirror image of her full brother from 2007, Valiant.

Our second foal arrived on the 15th May. A beautiful near leopard filly, believed to be the first Lucas Noermark foal born in the UK.

Our first foal - and believed to be the first British born Knabstrupper - of the season is born. A lovely few spot filly, Easter Parade, born on Easter Sunday.

Please see the foal page for more details.

UK KNN Gradings 2007

Bakkegaardens Stella is the first mare to pass a performance assessment with the KNN in the UK and has now had an "R" added to her stud book number as recognition of her own rideability. Stella held her own against the stallions entered for their performance assessments, achieving the best test on the day at the English leg of the grading at Kingswood EC, and the second best score overall out of three stallions and one mare entered at the English and Scottish legs of the UK KNN gradings.

Halfdan Valiant, son of Vaar Aetsted, achieved a first premium with the KNN at his foal assessment. In particular the judges remarked on his looseness of movement. We look forward to see how this handsome boy develops.
